Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo has been diagnosed with a fractured radial neck in his right arm, as reported by Ken Rosenthal, Brendan Kuty, and Chris Kirschner of The Athletic. According to The Athletic, Rizzo will not need surgery but is expected to be sidelined for approximately 4-6 weeks. Although the Yankees have not officially confirmed the diagnosis, they are expected to place Rizzo on the 10-day injured list before the series opener against the Orioles tomorrow.
