MLB All-Star Ballot Update: Judge and Harper Leading the Pack

In the latest update for the 2024 MLB All-Star Ballot sponsored by BuildSubmarines.com, Aaron Judge of the Yankees and Bryce Harper of the Phillies are the frontrunners in the American and National Leagues, respectively.

Should this trend continue until the conclusion of Phase 1, Judge and Harper will automatically secure starting spots in their league's lineup for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game, presented by Mastercard, set to take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington on July 16.

VOTE NOW: 2024 MLB All-Star Ballot presented by BuildSubmarines.com

There's still time for changes before Phase 1 voting ends on June 27 at noon ET. Fans can vote up to five times per day on MLB.com, all 30 MLB team websites, and the MLB app.

Judge leads all players with 1,366,315 votes, narrowly ahead of his Yankees teammate, Juan Soto. Harper, with 1,110,562 votes, is one of four NL players with over a million votes, alongside Phillies teammate Alec Bohm, Dodgers' Mookie Betts, and Shohei Ohtani.

Underrated Stars Who Deserve More Votes

The top vote-getter in each league will earn an automatic starting spot. Beyond these two, the top two players at each position, and the top six outfielders, will advance to Phase 2 starting June 30. If the leading vote-getter is an outfielder, only the next four will proceed to determine the remaining outfield starters.

As voting progresses, several tight races have emerged. These include AL first base (Vladimir Guerrero Jr. vs. Ryan Mountcastle), AL second base (Jose Altuve vs. Marcus Semien), a three-way competition for AL designated hitter (Yordan Alvarez vs. Giancarlo Stanton and David Fry), and NL second base (Luis Arraez vs. Ketel Marte).
